drenched
the wind thrashes against glass and doorframes
droning on through waves of chaos
winding wind chimes around broken chords
then crashing down into puddles
rippling blue through trapped brown
daybreak
the souls in puddles hum against bee flutters
grasp crevices of passing tires
reflect sky into grass into--sky
the soul in each puddle
twirls leaves like dancing ladies
left foot over right
twirling autumn red with wind
Simple meditation
finding truth in utter stillness
waiting past each brink and shudder
each night
each frosty cover
souls never caring
too weary to dance away
only rippling to whispers
again
the wind thrashes against glass and doorframes
droning on through waves of chaos
winding wind chimes around broken chords
then crashing down into puddles
rippling blue through trapped brown
daybreak
the souls in puddles hum against bee flutters
grasp crevices of passing tires
reflect sky into grass into--sky
the soul in each puddle
twirls leaves like dancing ladies
left foot over right
twirling autumn red with wind
Simple meditation
finding truth in utter stillness
waiting past each brink and shudder
each night
each frosty cover
souls never caring
too weary to dance away
only rippling to whispers
again
